On December 30th the federal government announced it intends to amend the Income Tax Act to extend the deadline for making donations eligible for tax support in the 2024 tax year, until February 28, 2025.

- When the strike began on November 15, we had to cancel one of our key mailings for the year and our end-of-year mailing arrived too late.
- With thanks to many supporters who called and gave online, our revenue gap is shrinking each day, but we are still estimating a $450,000 shortfall as a direct result of the postal disruption.
- We are committed to helping over 25,000 children who are scheduled to receive surgery and comprehensive cleft care from January to March, on time – and we need your generous help to keep our promises to the children.
